Here are the reviews from our guests in 2025, with stays of at least two nights. We have not included ratings as they vary across the different platforms we collaborate with.

Gundula SE – Sept. 2025 – 5 nights

In September, I spent a few days at the Happy Days B&B in Santa Maria al Bagno. It was my first visit, and apparently, it was a real success. The property lives up to its name.

My room was equipped with every comfort, including a balcony overlooking the lovely garden with pool. My day began with a refreshing swim followed by breakfast under the olive tree. Here, Valentina’s breakfast is like something out of an Italian picture book: fresh fruit, delicious pastries, jams, yogurt, eggs, tomatoes, and an excellent espresso.

From the B&B, you can easily reach the splendid beaches of Gallipoli or Otranto, or Nardò and Lecce, all cities with medieval historic centers, each more beautiful than the last. I loved strolling away from the main tourist streets, along less crowded and charming alleyways, whose architectural beauty leaves no one indifferent.

This little piece of land with the Happy Days B&B has found a place in my heart.

Els BE- Sept. 2025 – 6 nights

Andrea/Filippo and Valentina are super sweet people who will jump at your aid if you ask for something. Every morning at breakfast a “surprise of the day”, a local delicacy, was a nice change. The room was spacious and very clean, with a large terrace. We slept on the street side but after a few nights we were given the opportunity to move to another room with a view of the garden (which we did not do).

House in a strategic location, lovely and always clean room. Wonderful breakfast in the garden and excellent services. However, the difference is made by the staff, always efficient and courteous. Valentina, with her kindness and availability, made our stay perfect.

Although the breakfast was of an excellent standard and served with great courtesy, we note the lack of a buffet, which would shorten the time, and savoury options.

Due to the
work I do, I can tell you with absolute certainty that the rooms are clean. (a
special mention to Valentina).

The owners,
Filippo and Paola, are very kind and hospitable. The location of the B&B is
excellent, as it allows you to visit the most beautiful places in Salento,
within a maximum of 45 minutes by car. There is also a pool and a solarium in
the property.

The village
where it is located is stunning. What can I say, if I were to return to Puglia,
I would stay at Happy Days. Thanks to Filippo, Paola, and Valentina.

Valentina. Very attentive throughout the stay. Listening and caring.
Exceptional breakfast. New and firm bedding. Air-conditioned and spacious room
with balcony. Superb, perfectly maintained swimming pool. Secure property with
private parking. Ideally located a few minutes’ walk from the village. 15
minutes from Gallipoli by car. We highly recommend this establishment.

The B&B
is a villa with 4 bedrooms, all with bathrooms, one on the ground floor and 3 on the first floor. It has a very pleasant swimming pool that refreshes you on the hottest days, even when you return from the beach, and convenient parking. Breakfast is served with Valentina’s smile and stories, with a different delight every day. Filippo is an excellent host, available for any need and ready to recommend beaches depending on the wind blowing in Salento. The parking lot is a bit narrow, but if my car has been in and out every day, anyone can get in and out without any problems. We’ll be back!

Filippo, Paola, and Valentina make you feel at home. Always available, present, and unobtrusive. They give excellent advice on what to visit and where to go based on the weather, events, and personal preferences. The breakfast is excellent and the cleanliness is probably the best I’ve found in many vacations. I care a lot about cleanliness and order, and here we are truly at the top. Well done, if we return to Puglia, we will definitely visit them again.

We did have a wonderful time at the Happy Days and a lot of gratitude goes out to the wonderful Valentina who did make us feel at home. She also did care for the happiness of our one year old son. The room was cozy and tidy, the pool was great, the (Italian) breakfast was always good and she even served self baked food. The only but tolerable points we could claim were the busy road at night, so we couldn’t open the windows (but had AC) and the way back from town was a little ascent, but short. So all in all we definitely recommend the place!

We had an incredibly nice stay at the B&B Happy Days, which was especially enriched by the good soul of the house, Valentina, with her warm and charming manner and the delicacies she prepared. Exceptional

Valentina is warmth personified! She welcomed us with fresh pineapple juice and espresso. Every day she prepared a delicious breakfast for us by the pool: cappuccino, juice, yogurt, fresh fruit, egg, jam, and homemade pastries—delicious. The accommodation was very clean and there was a parking space for our car behind the house. Access a bit narrow for larger cars. The distance to town is easily doable on foot, although the way home is uphill. If we ever come back to the area, we would definitely book this B&B again. Thank you for everything, dear Valentina.

I stayed with my husband in this property last week, the experience was very positive. The location of the B&B allows you to easily reach the most beautiful beaches and the most important tourist locations in Salento.

The rooms are comfortable, tastefully furnished and cleaned daily, the Italian breakfast, with pleasant surprises, is served under a gazebo in the garden near the pool.

Valentina carefully takes care of the needs of the guests and is generous in providing useful advice and suggestions to make the holiday more enjoyable.
